There are several dog breeders who claim they can help you choose a dog from a pet shop that’s a perfect match for your lifestyle and budget.
But is the information on their websites correct?
Is it safe?
Are the breeders offering advice you should be taking?
This article looks at some of the most popular dog breeder websites and what you need to know about them.
What is a dog breed?
What do you need a dog to be?
Most dogs are born with a certain temperament or characteristics, but it’s up to you to find a dog that’s just right for you.
If you have a particular breed or temperament you can always get a copy of a book or other book that will teach you how to select the right dog for you, says Dr Anne White, a veterinary assistant professor of animal behaviour at the University of California, Berkeley.
Here’s a list of dog breed books you might find helpful.
You can find a list on Amazon.
If the dog you want to buy is the perfect match, breeders usually have a detailed breed history.
A good example of this is the book The Complete Guide to Puppy and Puppy Rescue by the American Kennel Club.
There’s a chapter on the origins of the breed, and an index that explains the characteristics of each breed.
Some of the books have a guide to selecting breeds, and some don’t.
Some books also include information on the health and temperament of the dog, which is useful if you’re looking for a new companion.
There are also information on health, temperament and health requirements.
Some dog breed websites offer breed information, but this is rarely updated, so it’s a good idea to look for the breed information in the book or the website.
What do breeders recommend?
There are some breeders, for example, that have more extensive dog books available on their website, but those are not always up-to-date.
If your local dog club doesn’t offer a dog book, try the dog clubs in your area, says White.
They usually have some breed books, which will help you select the best one for you based on the dog’s health and appearance.
Some breeders also offer advice on selecting a puppy, or the training of a puppy.
Some dogs breeders even offer puppies for sale.
How do you choose the best breed?
There’s nothing more important to a dog owner than a well-behaved and well-socialised puppy, says Jane Bancroft, owner of the British Kennel Clubs website, which provides information on dog health, behaviour and training.
You might be tempted to buy a puppy for a price you can afford.
However, there’s no reason to think a puppy’s health or appearance is guaranteed.
If it’s not going to work out for you or you think it might cause health problems, you should not take a puppy home, says Bancros.
Instead, find a breed that you can comfortably live with for the next couple of years and let your new puppy get used to people, treats and the outdoors.
When you buy a new puppy, you might need to keep it as a pet, so make sure it’s healthy and is in good physical condition before you decide to put it up for adoption, she says.

What should you look for when buying a dog?
If you’re shopping for a dog, consider its breed, age and size.
The longer you have the dog before you get to buying it, the more likely it is to be sick.
“Dogs that are a mix of temperament and age are likely to have problems with aggression, so look for puppies of both temperament and size,” says White, who has worked with thousands of dogs over the years.
“If the dog looks like it could possibly be a problem for you as a dog-owner, you’ll need to be more careful.
If a puppy looks a bit too young or old, it might not be the right fit for you.”

If buying a puppy from a breeders website, check the breed’s history, and how it was chosen.
“Be careful not to buy the wrong puppy,” says Bacchus.
You may be surprised to learn that some dog breed names are also given to different breeds of dogs.
These are called colour names.
Some colour names include: blue, grey, black, white, yellow, orange, red, black and white.
Some other colour names can include: black and grey, brown, white and black, blue and white, grey and white and white (but not grey and grey), white and grey and yellow.
How much do you pay for a puppy?
Most people think it’s cheaper to buy dog food from a supermarket than from a dog breeding or dog show.
The truth is that a dog food company charges more
