Breo-Elite-Elon Musk unveiled his first all-electric car in 2019, and today, the company announced it has developed a new all-terrain vehicle, a sleek concept called the Breo Ellipta.
The new electric vehicle is called the Model S Electric, and it will compete against the Chevy Bolt EV, Tesla Model 3, and Chevrolet Bolt Bolt Cross.
According to Musk, the new model “has the most interesting feature list of any vehicle that I’ve ever seen.”
“We’ve taken a lot of the styling cues from the Nissan Leaf and the Audi A3 and the Nissan Pathfinder, and we’ve made the interior feel much more luxurious,” he said.
“There’s a lot more glass in the cabin and a lot less of that plastic on the floor, so we’re able to create an experience that’s much more comfortable and comfortable to drive.”
The Breo Electric is powered by an all new lithium-ion battery, which Musk said can charge an electric vehicle up to 100 percent in about an hour.
It’s capable of driving from zero to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds and up to 186 miles on a single charge.
The car will also have a range of between 200 and 300 miles on electricity alone, and can also drive on roads without electricity.
“We’ll be charging the battery on-demand as the vehicle gets closer to being able to go from zero miles per gallon to 100 miles per hour,” he explained.
“You don’t have to take off the road, you can just cruise at 100 miles an hour, so it’s not going to be a big surprise if we go 100 miles on battery power at a certain point in the future.”
According to Musk’s website, the Brea Electric is the company’s first all electric vehicle.
It has a range range of 265 miles on an average charge, which makes it more than enough for most of us who are not currently carrying a full electric vehicle on our daily commute.
Musk has previously promised that the Breoa Electric would go on sale in 2018, but the details haven’t been finalized.
The first Breo E-E is expected to be on sale around 2020.
Tesla announced the Breona Electric back in March.
At the time, Musk said that the electric vehicle would be capable of “the fastest charging on any electric vehicle, including the Nissan LEAF, Toyota Prius, BMW i3, Porsche Panamera, and Audi A4.”
The new Breo is the first all in-house concept Tesla has ever produced.
Musk said the Breora Electric would be built at the company itself, which is the same structure the company had in place when it announced the first electric vehicle in 2019.
