Ingredients 1.5 cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter, softened 1 tablespoon olive oil, divided 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley, chopped 2 tablespoons fresh sage leaves 1/4 cup chopped cilantro leaves, chopped 1 teaspoon kosher salt 1 1/3 cups flour 1/8 teaspoon baking powder 1/5 teaspoon baking soda 1 1 1⁄2 cups whole wheat flour 1 tablespoon kosher salt Directions Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Line two 9×13 baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the butter, olive oil and parsley and season with salt and pepper.
Melt butter in a large, heavy pot over medium heat.
Add the parsley-cilantro mixture, sage, cilantro, salt and baking powder and cook until softened, about 2 minutes.
Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pepper and cook for another minute.
Add remaining flour and stir to combine.
Stir in the butter mixture and mix well.
Pour batter into prepared baking sheets and bake for about 25 minutes.
Let cool completely before cutting into slices.
