I love bread stuffing.
I just made it a couple of weeks ago.
I can’t believe how easy it was.
It’s so easy to make, and so delicious.
What you need: 1 pound bread 1/2 cup water 1 tablespoon baking powder 2 tablespoons butter or oil, plus more for greasing 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1/3 cup coarsely chopped onion, chopped 1/16 teaspoon ground cloves 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon salt or to taste 1/1 cup whole milk Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a loaf pan or cookie sheet with butter or olive oil.
In a large bowl, whisk together the baking powder, flour, and salt until well blended.
In another bowl, combine the yogurt, flour and milk and mix thoroughly.
Mix in the remaining ingredients.
Cover and bake for 20 minutes.
When the bread is done, remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
For the bread stuffing: Combine the remaining flour and water in a small bowl and add the butter or butter oil.
Stir until the butter melts and the flour is well combined.
Add the onion and garlic.
Add salt and pepper and mix until well combined, then stir in the flour mixture.
Add a little more flour if needed.
Spread out the stuffing mixture on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
You want to cover the top and sides of the pan with as much of the bread as possible.
For a more traditional version, bake for about 10 minutes more, then flip and bake another 10 minutes. Enjoy!
